Morrow County Hospital recently completed its evaluation by The Joint Commission and successfully met the rigorous performance standards in delivering quality, safe care for our patients. Accreditation and certification by The Joint Commission is considered the gold standard in healthcare.
The Joint Commission accredits and certifies more than 22,000 healthcare programs worldwide and focuses on continually monitoring how well staff provides a safe environment for care; educates about the risks and options for diagnosis and treatment; protects patient rights including privacy rights; evaluates condition, before, during and after diagnosis and treatment; protects against infection; and plans for emergency situations improving healthcare by setting the highest standards for healthcare quality.
